B-Day 1947

A First Person Grid Based Game

 

"B-Day 1947" is inspired by "The Room 4" and "Legend of Grimrock 2." Play as a forgetful scientist who needs to call his wife for her birthday! You have to solve the puzzles and get him to the telephone.

REFLECTION

Creating B-day 1947 was a blast, even though we had to stick to the school's theme. Working with our custom engine brought a whole bunch of new challenges, but we never gave up and kept going. It took a bit to get the hang of things, but once we did, it was smooth sailing. And with my awesome new team, diving into the level design together was a blast. We brainstormed ideas for each room, crafting puzzles and figuring out how to make them work. The whole process of iterating and refining was a whole new world of fun for us.
