Dissonance" is a platformer game that have mechanics inspired by "Celeste" and draws inspiration from the bosses in "Hollow Knight". You will dash your way through a musical world, defeating a boss to save your child.

REFLECTION

Creating a platformer 2.5D game presented a significant challenge, but I learned a great deal about designing and iterating levels. Crafting the most engaging and challenging stages and adding set dressing was particularly enjoyable for me. The feedback we received and observing players navigating through our levels was so much fun.

Additionally, being part of the sound taskforce was a unique experience. Researching and selecting music that perfectly fit the game's atmosphere and gameplay was very new. Collaborating within the taskforce to ensure the audio elements harmonized with the visuals and gameplay mechanics was both challenging and rewarding. Despite it being different from my usual tasks made it more fun to work with.
