Chase The Wind
A 3rd Person Obstacle Game

 

"Chase the Wind" is the first game I worked on at The Game Assembly. Control a paper plane as it glides through the streets of a Japanese city, collecting letters along the way and avoiding obstacles to reach your destination.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The team:

  • 3 Level Designers

  • 4 Graphic Designers

  • 5 Game Programmers

Production time:

  • 8 weeks half-speed = Around 160 hours.

  • Level Designing the tutorial/first level.

  • Level Propping / Level Art

  • Member in Sound task force

  • Member in Story task force

REFLECTION

There were many challenges when I embarked on my first project, but I learned a great deal about Unity and collaborating with a team to create a game. It was hard work, but in the end, our game turned out amazing. I took on the task of creating the tutorial, which was challenging, but it taught me a lot about guiding players and also helped me grow personally.
